Xyra Group Welcomes Robin Pakenham as Chief Financial Officer
Xyra Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Pakenham as its new Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant addition to the Group’s executive leadership as it continues to expand its portfolio across e-commerce, technology, and digital infrastructure.
Robin brings a wealth of financial and operational expertise, having partnered with ambitious businesses across life sciences, technology, and manufacturing to scale, raise capital, and deliver successful exits. A Fellow of the ICAEW with a Corporate Finance qualification, Robin’s career spans from fundraising and IPOs to private equity acquisitions and trade sales, bringing a deep understanding of capital structuring and growth management.
Throughout his career, Robin has shaped exit strategies that resulted in landmark transactions — including the £230 million sale of Bio Products Laboratory to Bain Capital, the £75 million trade sale of CP Electronics to Legrand, and securing multi-million-pound equity, debt, and grant funding for pioneering MedTech and biotech ventures.
Beginning his professional journey with KPMG before moving into private equity at Legal & General Ventures, Robin combines the analytical rigour of an investor with the operational depth of a senior executive. His reputation is built on financial discipline, scalability, and readiness for high-stakes growth and exits.
In his most recent role as COO/CFO of IsomAb, a university spin-out developing monoclonal antibody therapies, Robin operated at the intersection of science and finance, driving commercialisation and organisational transformation. His prior leadership roles at Imspex and Purespring further demonstrated his capacity to align financial strategy with innovation, implementing ERP and FP&A systems, building high-performing finance teams, and bridging operational execution with investor expectations.
Robin’s appointment reinforces Xyra Group’s commitment to disciplined expansion, financial excellence, and sustainable value creation. His combination of corporate finance acumen, private equity experience, and hands-on leadership will play a central role in guiding Xyra Group through its next phase of acquisitions and global growth.
“Robin embodies the strategic and operational mindset that defines Xyra Group’s leadership philosophy,” said Viktor Bronzović, Chief Executive Officer of Xyra Group. “His record in value creation, capital structuring, and deal execution will be instrumental as we scale our investment consortium across new verticals.”
