Graham is a leading global restructuring expert with over 30 years’ experience working for both creditors and corporates in restructuring, turnaround and insolvency assignments as well as M&A and divestment transactions. He has held Senior Partner positions in the UK, US, Australia and Singapore at Alix Partners, PwC and KPMG. In Singapore, he led KPMG’s SE Asia Restructuring Business and was an Advisory Board member. In the UK he had responsibility as Financial Services Advisory leader where he developed and subsequently led globally the Portfolio Advisory Business.
He has “Chief Restructuring Officer” (CRO) experience in several industries and as CRO recently led the successful restructuring of a global shipping business in a US CH11 Bankruptcy. He also acted as Chief Operating Officer (CRO/CRO) of a significant UK Property Development and Management Company.
In his role as global leader of KPMG’s Portfolio Advisory business, he was a leading advisor to Banks (as well as BofE and The World Bank) in the UK, Europe, America and Asia on the deleveraging of their Balance Sheets. Graham has successfully led over 150 Loan Portfolio Sale Transactions, with a value of over £100bn. He has also acted for global investors acquiring Non-Core and Non-Performing loan portfolios and where he has developed excellent relationships in the Distressed and Alternative lender space. As Administrator of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Europe, he was responsible for managing and realising £25bn of Real Estate loan portfolios across 12 different jurisdictions.
Currently Graham is acting as Senior Advisor to JLL, where he is helping to build a Restructuring and Loan Advisory business globally in the Real Estate Sectors.
